Vaccines

Are vaccines safe?

The risk for serious adverse reactions to vaccines is very low.  Years of testing are required before a vaccine is approved and used.  The risks of vaccinations are minimal while the risk of not vaccinating and being vulnerable to potentially life threatening infections is much greater.  Typical side effects of vaccines are soreness at the injection site, fever, and fatigue.  Concerns for vaccines causing autism have been scientifically disproved.  Providers at Cornerstone Pediatrics do recommend vaccines to all children.
